Version 0.5 (draft) — 2 July 2026
Supersedes v0.4 (25 June 2026) and "Leda Privacy Policy" (Feb 2025).
da.care SA ("da.care", "we", "us", "our") operates the Leda application. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Leda, why, and your rights. It applies to users in Switzerland, the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and worldwide.
Data controller: da.care SA (CHE-425.383.392), Chemin des Viaducs 1, 1820 Veytaux, Switzerland — [email protected].
For users in the EU/EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, da.care SA is the data controller under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) respectively.
How Leda uses AI — at a glance. Leda's chat, voice, and camera features send your inputs to third-party AI providers to generate responses. We name those providers and explain exactly what is sent in Section 5 and in our separate "How Leda uses AI" disclosure, which you also see in-app before you first use an AI feature. AI features run only after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time in Settings ▸ Data Controls.
Leda is built to minimise data. The free tier can be used without an account. We store account/identity information separately from your in-app activity where feasible, collect only what is needed to run the features you use, and do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party targeted advertising. No account or profile data (your name, e-mail, or user ID) is sent to the AI providers — AI requests are authenticated at our own backend (see Section 5).
Account and identity data (linked to your identity; needed for app functionality)
Name, e-mail address, and a user ID / account credentials, when you create a da.care Account. You can sign in with Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or a passwordless e-mail magic link. Authentication and sessions are managed by our processor Supabase Auth; magic-link e-mails are sent via Resend.
Device and performance data (linked to your identity; used for app functionality and analytics)
Device identifier, device type and operating system, app version, and performance/diagnostic data about how the app runs.
Your content (linked to your identity; used for app functionality and personalisation)
Text, photos, videos, and files you create or submit in Leda — including, where you use it, mood-tracking input, chat messages, and any camera images or voice recordings you choose to provide. The more you use Leda, the more it personalises to you.
AI interaction data (see Section 5)
Your chat messages, conversation history within a session, the active mini-app's system instructions, your language preference, and — for the relevant features — camera frames and voice recordings, which are sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses.
